Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born on March 14th, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast considered one the sport's greatest athletes. Biles was the very first female gymnast from America to ever win four gold medals during a single Games. In Rio de Janeiro, she was also the first female to ever win successive World All-Around championships. Biles is a native of Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) adopted them. They grew in the metropolitan areas of Houston. Simone started to develop an interest in gymnastics as an infant during a school field trip to Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach over the next 11 years. Biles achieved a silver medal at vaulting in the year 2010 as well as a bronze at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships. She then moved up to competitions at the elite level in the year 2011. In less than two years, she dominated the sport. What stood Biles apart was her consistency her flamboyant attitude and the extreme level of challenge she integrated into her routines in the four events she competed in: vault uneven bars balance beam and floor exercises.
