Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is an American animal rights advocate, writer, model and actor. Ali MacGraw is well-known for movies such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. She was drawn to becoming an artist was in part influenced from her childhood in an New York family of artists. She began as a photo assistant and then moved on to modeling and acting. Her two first films got noticed and earned her an award called the Golden Globe Award of Most promising newcomer. MacGraw's movie Love Story proved a major success and earned her international fame as well as an Academy Award' nomination and a Golden Globe award. In just three years, MacGraw was ranked as the top female box office starter in the whole world. In 1972 her hand-footprints and autograph were engraved at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Alongside The Getaway Convoy Players she also starred in the television show The Winds of War. In 1991, her autobiography Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw has been married three occasions.
